Allied Lafayette Spray Foam Insulation

About our insulation contractor team in Lafayette

Metal ductwork hangs among wooden attic trusses, with cream spray foam covering the roof underside.

We fix the problem before we insulate

I learned this trade at a big commercial insulation outfit, spraying foam and blowing fill on warehouses, offices and new buildings for years. In 2017 I started this business in Lafayette, and I still run a small crew and answer the phone myself. Most calls I get are about a drafty room, cold floors, a hot upstairs or an older house that never held heat. Some building owners also call to have their walls and roof looked at.

What I care about most is doing the steps in the right order. I find what needs fixing and seal the air leaks before new insulation goes in, because anything buried under fresh material stays a problem. If the real fix is a roof leak or another trade's work, I'll tell you that instead of selling you insulation that won't help. You can see everything we do on our home page, and when you're ready to talk about your house, use our contact page.

What you can expect from us

  • Air leaks sealed first

We close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch, and deal with old insulation that's soaked or full of droppings instead of covering it. That way the new insulation isn't fighting a draft.

  • I walk the job myself

I come out, go through the space with you and write the estimate myself, with years of commercial jobs behind what I'm looking for. Our install crew does the work, and I check it over with you at the end.

  • Plain talk about materials

Foam costs more and seals air while it insulates, so it usually earns its price when your ductwork is in the attic. Otherwise, sealing the gaps and topping up blown-in fill is usually the better buy.

  • We sort out the permit side

Before we schedule, I check which office covers your address, since the City of Lafayette handles permits inside its limits and other addresses go elsewhere. If you need one, we do the paperwork and tell you what the office wants from you.
